Twas the last entry before Easter...
Gft. Off again tomorrow! This is my holiday but I am never at home!

I will be snuggling my boy though, so that will be nice.

I'm a bit worried I will overpower my baby niece! I'm baby obsessed, and I am scared I won't be able to be in a different room from her. She's our baby girl and I want to make the most of every second with her. No doubt Bob will tell me off, then I will cry, and will boil with greeness everytime some one else has the cheek to holder.

Life would sometimes be easier if I were not me.

Today, Martha mouse discovered the delicious power of dandelion (as did Melissa). First she tried to tug-of-war the leaves from me into the nest. As I have a 'no vegetation in the nest rule', she eventually came out and snatched the leaves, and ate them with wild enthusiasm I have never seen the like of before. When Maisy came to enquire what the fuss was about, her sister snatched all the leaves from her grasp and hid with them in the toilet. I am only just beginning to tap into the bribery power of these wonder leaves!

It's going to be funny spending Easter in a non-religious family. I love them all loads, but no Jesus? Bizarre. I hope there is at least a bible in the house. I will have to mark the rising of my Lord in some way! It is, after all, the most important day in history to our faith.

Does anyone else wish they were more part of nature? My mother thought I was crackers. But watching the birds in the garden, I suddenly wanted to wander around naked, eating whatever I could happen upon or hunt. After all, nature works fine on its own. It doesn't need motorways or aeroplanes, or tower blocks. It's all designed to run more beautifully that we could ever plan it. For example, how does a Goldfinch's face know to grow red feathers? How come they grow to form perfect patterns over a whole wing? How does Martha know how to clean her tummy? Why does a baby giraffe stand up to drink straight away?

I really love this world!
