Better! Hurrah!
Thankyou for all your lovely guestbook messages. You are all very lovely. Today I am much better, although I did have to phone Bob to get him to give me three good reasons why I should get out of bed today. He did, so here I am.

Humph. Some of my library books went overdue, and I have to pay the fine before I can graduate (I also have to do a lot of work, but that somehow can be better ignored). I also have to renew the books in person, rather than online, next time which I have to do before the end of term (do not fancy a trip back here in the holiday just to take my books to visit their mum). This poses a problem, as I am sure I still have the books, but they are somewhere in the three foot deep pile of stuff that covers my floor. Did I ever mention I am the messiest person alive? I am.

I spoke to Melissa last night. Wildly exciting experience for me to phone up America! And lovely to speak to Melissa like she was a real person and not just a computer screen. I hope I didn't hurt your ear, Melissa. Once I start talking I go on and on and on and on. I am never lost for words!

After making my exciting phone call (which only costs 5p a minute, hurrah!), I had a full sublime to the ridiculous moment. I arrived downstairs to talk to Tai's boyfriend, who harped on at length about some scene from the nutty professor or similar to do with a giant mouse having bumsex with a man in a fur coat. This was followed by a monologue about how I could hack into the local wireless internet network using only a Pringles tube and a network card. Would any of you like to sweep Tai off her feet so I have someone normal to talk to of a weekend?!

I had better go, I think. I have only had a vitamin tablet to eat today, and while I feel quite ok, maybe some real food is in order.

The mice send love. They've just been cleaned out, and I have a terrible feeling they are making a nest in their toilet building. I woke to to them having some sort of fight/game this morning, but they seem to have made friends now.

(Just checked, nest is next to toilets, not inside. Phewf! The air quality of my room is preserved)
