Cheerful! Hurrah!
Hello everyone. I'm feeling particularly joyful today! This is odd as I am tired from having to share a three foot wide bed with a two-and-a-half foot wide boyfriend (good job he is not reading this or he would accuse me of extreme libel). He didn't much like sleeping in a room with the mice though. This morning he moaned that he hadn't been able to get back to sleep because he couldn't imagine what was making the scuffling noise. As the only living things in my room last night were me, him, and two mice, I am beginning to wonder if he is getting help with his university work. Surely someone that dim should not be heading for a first??

The mice are cuto extremo. This week's nest has a window through which I can see them sleeping. I always expect them to sleep curled up, but they prefer a prostrate stance with their chin on the floor. It's funny to see their eyes closed as they don't even blink usually. Martha was wahing Maisy with her tiny pink tongue as she slept. If you ever keep a rodent that is amenable to it (mouse, rat, gerbil, odd tiny hamster things), I would strongly reccomend having two. Seeing their sisterly bond is really lovely, and they are always happy together (bar the occasional squeak match). Plus, it is great to give them something new and watch one get the other so they can gaze at it in awe together.

The hot cross bun is rapidly diminishing now. I should have known nothing could over-face Martha 'the dustbin' Mouse.

Bob was at my house last night as his next door neighbour's bath has leaked into their electrics, causing permanent fire alarm ringing. This started yesterday morning, and is still going strong. Please spare a thought for Bob and his housemates Gin and Tonic as they cope with the house of tinitus!

School of Rock was great! I drove Betty home, which was ine except when I slapped Bob for laughing at my parking (or so I thought). He really is the best boyfriend though, because forgiveness came almost instantly, even though it was a full bitch slap. I am so violent lately! And thinking very criminally. I REALLY wanted to drag my key along every car on my way home yesterday. I even established which of my keys was sharpest. I also wanted to turn on the fire hose and flood this whole department. Ooh, so tempting! This is't like me at all though. I am usually the lord queen good girl! I cry over other people being hurt in any way at all. Or at the idea of someone scratching Betty. Who are you, bad girl possesor? I dislike you!

Well, I am off home to sort out arrangements for my trip to Wales this Sunday/Monday for my interview. I also have a presentation to prepare for it. Yum!

Love to you all!!!
